Steam Sale Shooters

Post by HereComesPete »

*To keep the sale stuff more specific to FPSESESES*

I've bought natural selection 2 - looks a bit mental to learn but also rather good fun for some TDM.

Also bought payday the heist as it was cheap and apparently it's good for a quick blast.

Mirrors edge kind of fits in here, was the price of 2 pints so I bought it. Unlikely I'll ever even play it unless someone wants to tell me that it's honestly bloody awesome.

Its honestly bloody awesome. Well, its really very good anyway. The combat sucks, but the running and jumping and ohshitherecomesthepavement is second to none.

I played with it on the 360. It's rather good. The last level is shit though, mostly because it's lots of combat, which does indeed suck.

I grabbed Hitman: Absolution and Borderlands 2 though I am not sure why on either count.

Excellent, I'll try and blast through it on a day off next week.

I think if anyone is partially tempted by hitman, the pack with blood money is probably the best option. But I've played some of absolution and it's graphically very beautiful and the killing is well thought out and takes patience and inventiveness. It's like a first person puzzler trying to get some of the challenges, first level has one where you have to get the silent assasin single kill without changing out of your suit into a disguise, utterly baffled on how to do it but I'll certainly give it a go.

Borderlands 2 is awesome if you like shooting and looting, got some good humour and nice varied landscaps.I think I spent too much time faffing about clearing chests early on though, got a bit burned out and never finished the main plot. Not sure I could go back for a second play through to get max level though.

Had it on the PS3. Gave up in the end as it got to difficult, but the running and jumping is very well made.

Edited Roman's post for Unnatural Erection 2 4pack. Anyone else fancy a copy get your name down and we can maybe get 4pack 2 under way.

I still have 1 copy of NE2 sat in my inventory, so I think one of you didn't press accept. Possibly Joose?

Probably me, I'm away for the weekend. I'll be back to accept it tonight though. How much do I owe you by the way, and how do you want it (hohoho)?
