Yeah, sorry. I barely played Cataclysm so this would have no chance of taking my money even if I weren't playing Guild Wars 2. Warcraft had a good innings from me though, I'm glad I played as much as I did.

Figured as much, but nonetheless, it's a somewhat significant thing as far as MMOs go.

I usually like the WoW cinematics, but that one seemed a bit dull compared to previous ones.

Still not interested in WoW. Not even in the slightest. I would have likes to have seen Catalclysm, but my WoW switch was firmly turned off by Wrath of the Bitch King

I think they argued somewhere along the line that they were lore before the pisstake thing. Doesn't really hold water with me though, still looks like a pisstake.

I have purchased this game. I stopped playing a while back at the start of Cata due to artistic differences shall we say. That and the game is a life sucking time stealing scumbag... however I kept in with the old guild in that time and thought i would dip the toe in again. From what I have seen so far, it is not too bad, you don't really notice the pandas too much, but they do seem to have pushed the comedy button a bit too hard as a few quests have gone for a more slapstick approach.

As long as I can keep a handle on play time, I think I may enjoy toodling along in it, but I am not sure I can be bothered to go back to the raiding side of things. Mainly because it has all changed and I do not have a clue what I am doing! Still, least the guild still raids late at night, so i can fit it round beast duty fairly painlessly...we shall see.

Were they not introduced in WC3 Frozen Throne? in the little RPG thing they did with Rexxar?

Yep. You could hire one as a merc in some multiplayer maps as well, irrc.

Ya DP is correct.

Beast Duty - Bathing and bedding the children.
Birdy Duty - Watching some wankbag film or telly combo with the wife.

Smells like pandering to the Chinese market to me.

It is rather Chinese. Berks Mage looks like an obvious twat as a gobbo with a downlighter as a hat. But yeah, has made WoW a little bit more comedy if you ask me. I like the new raids. But they're not massively difficult. If you're used to raiding and stuff they're a doddle. And Looking for Retards is as much a pain in the arse as it ever was. I dunno whos idea it was to say "we'll mismatch 25 players from other realms to do a raid" but it was the worst idea for wow imo. Especially if you end up dinging 90 on a friday night and running LFR on a saturday morning in an attempt for gear. Getting into a wipefest of 12 year olds whos parents have told them they can tank/heal or generally play a decent game is fucking awful. They can't even take the compliment that they suck.

Not really tried much of the pandas yet but done the start area quests which are easy and quite fun. Nice to think that WoW encorporated an Ankh-Morporkesque kinda dealio in there. Was expecting the moving turtle to be held up by Elephants. This would have greatly amused me.
