This has been posted on RPS before, and does look interesting as a lot more in depth FTL combined with Dwarf Fortress and I'm currently downloading the alpha test of the Ship Building section, which will make up about a 1/4 of the game.

Currently has an indiegogo on the er, go.

I expect the sound effects (ie, the Aliens Pulse Rifle noises etc..), some names and certainly the crew pictures to get replaced at some point

This does look interesting. I saw in the RTS comments on the latest Kickstarter Katchup that you needed to pay $100 before you got the full game, but I can't see where they got that from unless they mean the game and all content.

Alpha 0.15 is now out. Should add a bit more depth as it's adding proper power and cooling systems to the game.

Merrily keeping an eye on this.

0.16 is out and with it a fair few changes, it's much more fleshed out in terms of the systems in the game, and you can even do a couple of missions with crew now.

Having a play with it shortly once I finish downloading it.
