Beard Bash 2012!

Post by Joose »

Zomg!

We are looking at dates for beard bash, and currently 3-5 August seems the best for us. Same set up as last time, arrive on Friday, games Saturday and Sunday, pack up and fuck off on Monday. Obviously, you are free to come late/leave early as required. It will be a the new Casa Del Joose, which is just north of Leicester. Public Transportists can be picked up from either Leicester or Loughborough with reasonable ease.

So, who would be able to make those dates? Register interest! DO IT NOW!

3rd - 5th falls right in the middle of my 2 weeks off, so if I'm still at the same place by then I'm a definite.

Did anyone have Mechwarrior? I'd love to give that a shot.

Right, well that all seems fairly positive, so I'm going to set that as the date. Can I get some definitely confirmeds, and I will update the first post. Also, what do people fancy playing/GMing? I'm happy to run SR and/or Eclipse Phase as either one-offs or whatever, and I would go for some D&D and (as long as I dont pass out this time) SLA, but im open to suggestions for Other Things too.

Two:

Necromunda (the gangster based one) and Death Watch (40k but with proper Space Marine lore, ie, a Marine carving through dozens of orks as a starter course).

I'm sure I'll be able to make it and bring my extensive knowledge of..nothing with me.

Of course I'm always up for a bit of Thor-ing and I very much enjoyed ass-sensing last time in Shadowrun, plus I had my eye on an apothecary type in Deathwatch, but stumbled over finding a faction with a pink enough colour scheme. Always very keen to try something new I've never even heard of as well, or just watch - that was really fun, too. Is anyone looking to trial their own self-designed games out? That would be amazing.

Can you give me a postcode or slightly less rough location? I might do what I did last time and just drive over Sat & Sun if it's not far, it'll probably take me less time than going to work does, as the M69 is always empty and doesn't have a speed limit. Coming from work (which is in Leicestershire) on Friday might be an option, too.

Ah, yes, funnily enough I was just coming on here to post about this. Turns out my gran is being all inconvinent and turning 90 that weekend, so the whole family is going to my parents for a rave. Or something similar. I would probably be disowned if I blew it off for drunken d&d.

So, anyone have a problem with shifting it back a week, to the 10th-13th of August?
