Saturthings/Sundaythings

There are restauranty places huddled away in the Yew Tree part of Yardley, which are actually pretty decent, and failing that there's a new Wetherspoons. I believe there's a (overpriced) tapas bar and a few sit-down curry houses that are good.

Prometheus is on at the Giant Screen (former IMAX theatre) in town centre.

Toy collector's fair at the NEC. Anyone actually interested in this, or is it a bit stuffy?

National motorcycle museum
http://www.nationalmotorcyclemuseum.co.uk/

Black-country living museum (haven't been since I was a kid, but it's a living victorian village)
http://www.bclm.co.uk/

Shoppy/foody places in town, quite a few lovely restaurants in Brindley Place actually.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Can I put in an extra order of cadbury highlights chocolate fudge? Wunderschlampe asked me to bring some so you'll be fully reimbursed.

Prometheus on the big screen sounds ace, I've yet to see it (in fact, I'm going to see it next Tuesday) so wouldn't mind that.
The toy collector's fair might be a bit stuffy, but I wouldn't mind going as I quite like going to those kinds of things and if I find some cheap trinkets to bring back home all the better. You too could surprise your partner/child with an ancient piece of cheap crap.
Black country museum is the type of thing I go to when on Holiday with Mrs. J, but with 5punkers it sounds fucking hilarious and therefore better.

So really, it's all good by me. Which isn't super helpful.

As for food, the only thing holding me back is budget so I can't go too much over say 30 pounds. Other than that it's all good.

Can usually get a couple courses at the cheapy restaurants for ~£10, and a minibus with 5punkers in it should only come to ~£1-2 each way depending on how far we go, as the cost is split.

Just to clarify, that's 30 pounds per meal, not 30 quid for the entire weekend.

 I will bring a crown fit for a king. But then the king of Belgium has no crown so I'll just wear my hat.

Pnut, you Hispanic homo, what time are you finishing work on Friday? I'll pick up Shada then head to you.

Also my order of Dandelion & Burdock and Sasparilla hasn't turned up, so I'll have to get a substitute from the shops.

I'm goign to see Prometheus in IMax 3d on Thursday night but if it's really good I'll happily see it again. However, just as an alternative suggestion - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1611224/

I'm perfectly comfortable with Indian food, but your drainage system might not be. Also, I've only had Indian food once so you guys can recommend me something.

I love the curry, although you might want to purchase an extra plunger or two...

Ooh, steam trains. I love a bit of locomotive.

I also love the curry. But as you are all well aware, my rectum is a heinous beast spawned of the nether world.

I'll stay outside until it's reduced to aftershocks. Someone best warn the Taiwanese their tsunami plight isn't over.
