Mornin all!

Today, a work will happen. This does not please me.

In other news, I got a very entertaining voice mail on my work phone this morning. I appear to have a number that is quite similar to the number of a bank somewhere, as im often getting messages (generally from old sounding people) making enquiries about their account/cards. This mornings takes the biscuit though, as he listed off his name, card number, expiry date and pin number.

I feel like I should be doing something about this, but the people never leave their numbers, they don't show up on my missed calls, and they never refer to the bank by name. So I am reduced to chuckling at their silliness and deleting the messages.

I shall also be doing a work. Played a good chunk of Portal co-op with Mr Bits last night, thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the last level of the transport funnels.
Also I appear to have not won Steam. This makes me sad

I took today off. This serves two purposes:

1. I get a day to recover at home after spending a week travelling and visiting family.
2. I don't have to deal with all the people who come back to work today and do something stupid.

Unfortunately I think Mrs Pants will come up with plenty of work for me. I also didn't win Steam, but I think after the Christmas sales I own half of it anyway.

I had an alright day at work, lots of cleaning. Had a "wax on/wax off" moment when polishing glass shelves earlier.

Upon returning home, I see 38Degrees are planning to spam the HMRC with lots of complaint letters. Noble but I don't think it'll make much difference, even if it is fucking obscene that big businesses are getting special deals.

HMRC are complete fuckwits. They let themselves get a good rimming off the big boys, but any SME with arrears has no fucking chance these days - even if they put together a sensible repayment plan, more often than not HMRC just end up issuing a Winding Up Petition. Of course all that happens then is that they set up another company and none of the arrears get paid. Retards.

I don't appear to have won the entire of Steam, but I'd have been proper annoyed if I had as I bought ten games during the sales.
