5punk

It's the time of year for the 5punk awards again. Please nominate your entries for the Multi-Player game of the year. Nominees should be the best, or most 5punky, games which involve you dicking, or maybe even cooperating with, your fellow man. Maybe even people from the internet. Nominations end in a week or so or when I can be arsed setting up polls on this thread.

Thr33f and Red Orchestra 2 for me. RO2 didn't seem to appease to much 5punkers due to it's brokenness and balls-hardedness, but I enjoyed this old school shooter a lot.

Threef's got (nearly all of except GRIMMIE) us all playing again, so that's my nomination.

I'd also perhaps like to second a vote for Bloodbowl, as the league earlier on the year was quite fun

Portal 2 Co-op, it's a masterpiece, and actually requires active co-operation.

Anything but B33F is unacceptable in my eyes. Every bit as fun and awesome as BEEF but newer and shinier.

Other nominees:
Serious Sam 3 co-op, very close to being as awesome as the original First & Second Encounters in co-op.
Portal 2 co-op, obviously.

Threef is awesome, Portal 2 is pretty special too but I think we can't have this award without mentioning Minecraft

A lot of us had a good go at Rift this year, which I consider to be the pinnacle of this generation MMO design.

I forgot about Rift. Jolly good fun it was too.

Even though I haven't played it, I'm going with B33F.

B33F's not my thing, I never liked the last one much but played it because I was lonely and craved acceptance. I don't know if it's entirely 5punky, despite a lot of us playing it, but I think Minecraft definitely is.
