Arcadey made-for-console WW2 game based in the Pacific theatre. You play as a dude in the Navy you gets promoted a bit as the campaign unfolds, getting control of more and more stuff. All toys are playable, from fighter, bombers, battleships and submarines.
The control interface, despite or maybe because of being designed to accomodate a controller is pretty slick. Mouse and keyboard actually works fairly well.
Gfx fairly pretty though clearly designed to reduce lag/increase framerate but actually works well. Sounds are weak including the voice acting which feels a little contrived.
Things that suck so far: weather is always nice and sea is always flat calm. Animation on people is crappy. And although it's a nice touch to see little dudes wandering around on the deck of your ship, they carry on nonchalantly even when the thing is on fire and about to sink. Subs are cool though.
Has coop mode which might be fun.
