Go vote here! Last year had some surprisingly good games among the winners, such as Plants Vs Zombies and World of Goo, as well as more predictable (but still good) titles like Mass Effect 2 and Ass Creed 2. There was also the predictable but less good raft of Call of Duty stuff. This year looks to be weak in the shooter department, but some more good PC games in the running. So lets hold up our platform out there, unless you like the console stuff better in which case vote for that and highlight the stuff they're doing well. It's all good.

Sad to say that my favourite shooter out of those was BlOps. And voting in categories where you're picking the only game you've played feels a bit dishonest, in almost half I've not played any. Obviously I didn't vote in the latter.

Does it say anywhere where the date cutoffs for consideration are? It just seems really weird to have a best of 2011 award in Oct. 2011, especially when Battlefield 3 comes out two days later.

I doubt they'll update it though, so I've cast my voties in the limited selection that's there.

Was nice to see Frozen Synapse in the Downloadables section though, but it's up against Minecraft.

Yeah, I voted for Frozen Synapse just because I know Minecraft will win and I wanted it to get some recognition.
