I'm currently in the process of making a pair of speakers and I am in the need of someone who can draw me something fairly basic (it's pretty much a 16cm cube with a single hole in it) in cad from a sketch with measurements, so i can send it off to the wood cutting chappies.

If anyone can do it i would be eternally grateful, I can't offer much but there would be beer tokens and bumhugs in it for them.

I've messed about with it before, but can it export everything as a cad file?

I have a copy of some expensive Auto CAD software on my work PC but have no idea how to use it.

I swept up a copy of autocad 2011.

Time for a crash course.

Should be able to whip that up in SolidWorks in no time.

You will want the file saved in DXF Format, this is the most common file format and can be used in any CAD program, I have AutoCAD 2012 (legitimate, as it's part of my job) so if you need anything doing send me details or a picture/sketch and i'lll send you want you need.

Are you looking at getting this milled out on a CNC machine or you just need a technical drawing for the woodworkers?

Ahh thanks jock! Yeah this is to be cnc routed out, by a millers, i believe their machines take cad files...
