New smaller Xfire signatures

Post by Woo Elephant Yeah »

Right then badger fuckers, can everyone please change their signatures using to the following :

Code: Select all

<img src="http://www.5punk.co.uk/xfire.php?user=USERNAME" />
You'll also need to make sure the Always allow HTML: option is set to yes within your profile

I'm sure you'll agree that this should help towards stopping the current scrollfest that is 5punk

If you have any queries/suggestions then please let me know.

Sorted, I've added the bit about making sure the "always allow html" setting is set to yes within your profile

What do you guys think of editing it and getting rid of the avatar space on the left of the sig?

I suppose I had better resize Captain Wobbly Bollock to 80x80 to set an example to everyone else and their avatars.

The only problem is that it looks terrible if I resize an already pixelated image.

A while back I was going to install an automatic resize avatar thingy which should hopefully get round this.
Now where did I put that hack?

*fumbles around in desktop folders*

As for resizing the user names, I don't see how this will help shrink the size of the blue banner thingy, allthough it might make it look nicer I suppose.

Anyway, back on topic, smaller xfire signatures are a good thing :D

I think, just for that, you should be randomly changing the filename on a daily basis.

Just to let you know, you can now upload your own avatars, and the size is restricted to 80x80 and 10,000 bytes.

Anything bigger than this will not work on the forum, hence Captain Wobbly Bollocks disapearing into the distance.

He'll be back tomorrow though once he's been resized, possibly after having a trim

Perhaps a soldering iron would help to heat the metal bits up !
