It's some had some significant improvements since the Internet shouted about it sometime ago: You can now walk up single blocks and you jump double block height. Making traveling a whole lot easier. Also joining games works properly now and the maps listed on the website are quite well populated and built up.
It's still the same old game though. Nothing amazing, but I find it a fun diversion for a short time.
