bleh.
They need to get Portal and TF2 out before then, while Ep2 has shiny bits, those could look dated.
I don't get it - fix what's broken, release in the summer and put all the newfangled new tech bits in a patch or Ep 3/HL3.
This isn't what episodic content was supposed to be about - it was bonus episodes, released frequently, using the existing game engine.
FEAR and Prey demostrated that fancy-ass graphical techniques do not make a good game.

Since this article was originally published earlier today, the press release from Electronic Arts UK has been updated to state that the release will actually happen some time in "Autumn", rather than the original "Winter" timeframe outlined in the original press release.
Oh great, Autumn

Crysis can kiss my XP, DX9 arse. Stalker is the only other one of those I've heard of - anyone care to summarise them for me? Berk - please use several words per game, not one.

Bioshock: system shock 3
Pippa Funnell 3: horses

Ok
System shock?
I love...
Ok
Operation flashpoint?
My gaming experience is suprisingly limited to be honest. PC gaming only became really viable for me about 2 or 3 years ago. Prior to that, it was limited to Doom, Wolf3D and Theme Hospital and all other gaming was console-based for me. Even then, I only ever owned a Megadrive 2 myself. I'm a late starter I guess!

Operation flashpoint/armed assault are very very realistic FPS games, more like a sim than a game. jolly good fun anyway.

Bah, who cares about the console versions and actually buying the games on discs? If it wasn't for them Valve would probably release it over steam six months earlier.

I was really looking forward to TF2, it was the only reason I was buying it.
