I imagine people know about this already (hell, its probably been posted here already) but just in case you havent heard: Project Zomboid looks awesome.

In short, its a proper zombie survival horror RPG. no fast zombies, and getting infected is easy, as it should be. Its more about getting scared and running away whilst muttering "shitshitshit" than it is about gunning down bazilions of Z's, which is a nice change. Also, from reading the blog posts it seems like the designers really know thier shit when it comes to zombies.

The realistic(ish. more than usual) crafting system looks quite good, but what really sold me was (wierdly) the LOS system. See:

The extended or other videos are good, crafting is indeed looking not bad at all.

Thats pretty cool. Brings peripheral vision into play, i can see that bringing many brown trouser moments.

Yeah, I posted something about this last month I think. It has a Minecraft-style pay-in beta which I was going to go for, but my money ran out and hasn't recovered yet.
