Just started watching this yesterday night, and I have watched the first hour.

It's quite simply awesome animation, but the story is soooo slow that I gave up and went to bed. I never do this, and allthough the animation was fantastic, I don't know whether I should bother watching the rest narf.

Has anyone else watched Anime's that are just annoyingly slow with their storyline/dialogue?

It seems quite a common trend for a lot of Anime films, and I find it ruins a lot of stuff I have watched in the past.

I do reccomend the GiTS: Stand Alone Complexes though, they're great.

I saw this at the UK premiere, it was a slow start, and as seems fairly common the story is either so whacko that it's makes no sense or trying to be extremely profound.

The fan subbed version I downloaded was much better than the offical subbed version

Anyway.. I think it gets much better towards the end and the final action sequence is awesome

I'm sure I've seen GiTS2 but can't remember any of it.
The series is good, The Laughing Man and all that stuff.
