AVI converters

Anyone know any good ones, I have a ton of stuff I want to throw onto the x-box to watch.

Yes, if you can get it to work, Handbrake should handle anything but Fraps videos I think. It likes to have
VLC around for some functions, but you should have that anyway.

I tried to post this earlier, but my mobile signal cacked out:
Are you sure you need to? The xbox used to be a bugger when it came to video, but it plays most things that I throw at it now. Try just chucking whatever you want to watch on a USB stick or something and play it straight from the dashboard. Unless it is in a properly wierd format it will probably work fine.

Been trying - computer sayz no.

Videora (Red Kawa) do converters for lots of things, including the 360. They're free, but probably contain adverts. The interface is pretty basic, but you can queue jobs up. I like that it removes the ambiguity of selecting whather the correct format and encoding is supposed to be as it's purpose built to deliver for your desired platform.
Also, there's a thingy deep within the XBL downloadable programs that you can install on the 360 that lets you play more media types.
