For everyone who doesn't know, our POS is up and is getting closer to full operational status every minute. Thanks to everyone who chipped in.

This weekend we are going to mine all weekend if possible. For us to get more belts and possibly push others out of theirs cause they suck (not sure just a wish) we need to mine our belts. I want to ravage them, let the roids say in the back of the mineral filled heads. Oh know not 5punk coming to molest me till i pop.

I would like to have the following:
1 Tanker
1 or 2 cloaked alts in the neighboring systems for adv WT/hostiles notification
3 barges to 1 hauler should do (everyone else)

We get a good turn out I see no reason why 2 of the belts can't be completely mined to nothing. Make a huge pot of tea, bring the ash tray inside and crack a window, bake some cookies, order a pizza do what ever you have to do to be there. This is our new home lets show everyone around who 5punk is and what we're gonna do.

Who ever is in tight with the DJ could we get a good set ready for this weekend? Some Lynyrd Skynyrd always gets me in the mood for mining. Some techno is ok but it gets old after a while.

Not sure we'll get more belts at all...the claim allocation is one per 10 people in the corp and that's it. The claims are only so you are guaranteed enough to mine to pay the fee. However, we can always mine unclaimed belts no probs. So far as I can see, only 6-2 and the ones we have are claimed, so the rest are fair game.

James mentioned in his post that if you regularly husk your belts more can and will be assigned to you. But, imo that means we have to husk our belts every day for a few weeks for that to apply.

Also, the unclaimed belts are fair game ..as Friz said.

Make sure you don't pop any high value rocks though, as they might respawn as something crap like veld, but if you leave them intact (however low) they will regenerate back up to their original size. Feel free to pop any low end ore though as they *might* respawn as good stuff

At this time I am gathering items that will be needed for mining. Not that we already dont have them, it'll be nice to have extra just in case.

6 sets of high end mining crystals (1 set = 3 crystals)
Harvester Drones, about 30 of them.

Retrievers and Coverter. They are like paper to the ratts that are out there. Make sure that your aligned to get out in a hurry. Even if there is a gang leader. You see ratts, Type it and get out. Vent works wonders here. Retrievers and Coverters will be hard to replace. Hulks and below will be extreamly hard to replace.

Everyone is needed. again if you can tank or haul, we cant mine with out ya!!! Everyone gets a split! I'll be coming out with a list by wed/thursday to kinda pair people up as an example. I'll see if I can Fea put it in the bible as well.

Granted the start of this will seem almost like a job. There is fun to be had. Lets make sure we use Vent and TS to keep the chatter going. Thats right we'll get Dres on there to hear his sqeaky voice, and every one can make fun of how I sound like a radio jocky.

I thought that whole roid popping thing was a myth? We might ask some of the people who've been there for a while to confirm. Should we buy a retriever/covetor BPO or at least a bunch of BPC's? We already lost one to the nasty ratses.

Oh an Manorina is allowed down there as long as I tell everyone who she is and run when LV comes in (they're NBSI), so there's another miner for you (hulk capable, has a mackinaw).

Gonna be away for a week or so starting Friday so can't help with mining this weekend.

As for the future, I will be more than happy to help out as long as there is plenty of notice and weekday afternoons are the best times for me. Can only fly a T1 retriever at the moment or a T2 fitted Domi if that's better. Can haul about 10,000m3 in a badger 2 although I suspect I might train to haul more in the near future. Tanking is a bit suspect at the moment; work in progress so I'll get back to you on that.

bpc would work probably better friz. we're not big enough to get a bpo. bpo is better but I am moving on to HULK asap so some one can have the covetor I 'll use then.

Q, those sets your talking about are those T2 or T1? Tonight when I get on I am sending my empire alt in here hauler and picking up T2 mining crystals.

Anyone needs T2 mining crystals let me know I'll try and pick up as many as possible. I am also getting T2 mining drones and harvesters as well unless Q is picking up a bunch for everyone, so you want some let me know.

Defo pick up an T1 Ark crystal BPO - apparently the one we have is only a BPC

Ok I have Ark, Bistot, and Gniess bpo's. T2 ark bis and gniess crystals. 24 T2 mining drones, 0 harvesters (@20 mill each, kinda of expensive for me.)

harvest 30 units a cyclte at 250m/s
T2 mining drones 25 units at 500m/s

i think over time (a few hours) the T2 drones would be better just cause they get from ship to roid to ship faster than harvesters.

I am gonna try and grab 50 of each T2 crystal for every ore we got. I have met a few T2 mining crystal BPO people so gonna see if we can cut a deal with them.

I found when I was using drones that it was best to train the lasers on the rocks that were furthest away and sit almost on top of the rock you are using the drones on so they don't need to travel at all

getting stuck on a roid on warp out is last thing i ever want to have happen

obviously you don't sit right on top of it and make sure you have a clear run to your exit point

Ok everything is in HOTH at the moment, in a can called Qs/Corps mining stuff. Trademaster will be finishing up moving 2 hulks and other items tonight and tomorrow. He said that it would be ready by wednesday night, come hell or high water.

Anyway... let me know if you guys need anything else.

\o/ more hulks, at 440mil and got someone willing to sell me theres for 460mil so I should have mine in Hoth tonight or Wednesday by the latest as long as I stop losing BS. 3 in 2 weeks =(

I'll work on popping all the low ends then to prove/disprove it. I have a set of T2's for them, and will clear them until my skills for high end ore T2's grow in.

I have a covetor bpc that has a couple runs left on it, and a domi bpc for a ratting boat I'd like to build down there in 'rifis. I'll get them moved to Hoth sometime this week.

I have a JC set up next door to our new home, so I can help move stuff in Empire, and jump down for the fun this weekend. Niqy is gone this weekend, so I'll be mining like crazy, (or hauling in my Itty V) can't tank to save my own life though.
