Join the Burning Crusade from within the Ergopod
Filed under:

Though it's intended to meet the needs of overworked graphic designers or computers users with physical constraints, the
Ergopod seems like the ultimate tool for those
World of Warcraft players who simply
must reach level 70 in one sitting. In fact, there's no need for
sitting at all. Lying down in bed with your equipment eerily hovering above you will do just fine.
The Ergopod (likely named for its ergonomic qualities and not its ability to logically present arguments) supports several other, less
horizontal positions, but the effort required to make use of them just seems so daunting now.

Someone here made a good point: What happens when you let go of the mouse, especially if it's a cordless one?

I'd be more worried about if the monitor slipped off

The most hardcore players would die on this or at least, the muscle wastage on their legs after one sitting would stop them walking around

Oh yeah, 'cause lying in bed at night while I sleep turns my legs into a withered mass of ruined muscle and bone :p

You can't drink beer properly while lying down, and MMONGs of any sort require alcohol to fully benefit from them. Apart from Eve - I've found I wake up a lot poorer and floating around in a pod after drinking and playing. Kind of how Ripley must have felt in Alien 3.
