Steam vs Dual Monitors

If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

Steam vs Dual Monitors

Post by Roman Totale »

Werd

For a few weeks now I've been having issues with Steam. Whenever I play a game, the second monitor goes completely black and won't display anything. Trying to switch to the second screen sends everything mental, and it will sit there for 5 minutes flicking backwards and forwards (even in games that are alt-tab friendly, and even using the Steam shift-tab thing).

Drivers are up to date.

Anyone else getting this?

Happens from time to time to me, but usually clears itself up after a minute or two.

I had it with one rev of the nVidia drivers, now I just stick with the ones Windows autoupdates with, even though they're pretty old. I don't know how good the AMD ones are.
