Regional contract Tenerifis

What we get

+ The entire northern part of Tenerifis is accessible to ISS, but ISS ships are not allowed 'south' of the X-1QGA system (see map)

+ Unlimited npc hunting in this area

+ Unlimited mining in this area (subject to ground rules by the ISS Regional Coordinator)
* The refining station in C3-0YD is managed by ISS, and surrounding the station, within 3 jumps, are 72 asteroid belts with highend ore. It is a very rich area.
* The refining station in KW-OAM is managed by ISS, and surrounding the station, within 3 jumps, are a lot of asteroid belts with highend ore. It is also a very rich area.

+ Unlimited access to complexes in this area

+ Unlimited access to moon resources
* We can survey and setup starbases everywhere we want in this area
* We can claim sovereignty everywhere we want in this area

+ The refining station: ISS member corporations are also allowed to setup (sovereignty claiming) starbases in the station system for the duration of their stay in Tenerifis.
* This allows for starbase factories, labs etc. to be constructed.

Terms and conditions

+ ISS ships are not allowed into regions surrounding Tenerifis. This is to assure that diplomatic incidents will be kept to a minimum.

+ ISS Regional Coordinator James Lyrus is responsible for fees and docking rights. ONLY James Lyrus or ISS Management act as a go-between with Lotka Volterra (LV) about fees, docking rights, access, diplomacy, and incidents. We want to keep misunderstandings to a minimum.

+ ISS will pay a weekly fee of 5M Isk pr. pilot per corporation operating in the region (calculated pr. corp, not on a pilot pr pilot basis)
* Example: if members of one ISS corporation of 60 members operate in the region, ISS will pay LV 300M each week pilots for this corp to be allowed to operate in Tenerifis
* The ISS member corporations transfer fees to the ‘ISS Outpost’ corporation (CEO: Duchess deGulia) for their pass to Tenerifis for the following week, and this corp then transfers the collective fees to LV.
* For each belt claimed by a corporation, that corp must also pay 30M isk per week as part of the fees paid.

+ Refining: All refining of loot and ore must take place in the outpost refinery. The refining tax there is 10% (may be subject to change). No POS refineries are permitted anywhere in the region. ISS will regularly inspect starbases in the region, and if any refineries are detected, the consequences will be immediate.

+ Docking rights: Only ISS corporations who have paid the fees to LV may dock. All LV corporations may dock at any time.

Living in Tenerifis

Belts are allocated to corps. This list is published on this forum. There will be 1 belt per 10 members (rounded down) in the outpost system. Additional allocations will be made as necessary, however it is likely these will be in systems around C3-0YD. Claim jumping may result in a fine, and for repeated offenses additional action may be take. Each corp is entitled to manage 'their' belts how they wish.

Corps are required to plonk a secure can at their belt to remind everyone, however it's expected that residents will keep up to date with claimed belts.

Any unclaimed belts are general access for 'casual' mining, however we expect local corps to prioritise 'their' belts. At the current time, this includes the Mercoxit belts. If we appear to have difficulty managing this, then we'll review the situation.

Ratting is a free for all, with the caveat that if mining is in progress, or someone is already fighting a rat, you ask permission before engaging. It's not uncommon to tank a particular spawn for the duration of a mining op.

Security and military

+ ISS will assume responsability of patrolling the northern part of the region. ISS will pursue and suppress pirate incursions into the region. ISS will keep LV central space command informed of all foreign alliance movements in Tenerifis and as such act as border guards and reconnaissance for LV.

+ The official channel for the area is called "Calico". If you are operating in the area, then you are required to join it. This is to serve similar purposes as other regional channels, namely sharing of information, intel, and general heckling.

+ If someone attempts to assault the station system, LV will respond as per normal procedures in the defense of Tenerifis and dispatch a fleet to defend the station.

+ All ISS corporations are responsible for their own day to day security in Tenerifis.

Transgressions of any one of these, all in all, very simple rules will lead to immediate expulsion from ISS.

The green box shows the system we're claiming belts in and where we have a POS. The system just left of it contains the refinery outpost 'LV Serenity'. Do not fly south of the red line - thar be Lotka Volterra who will 'have words' if they see ISS in those systems.

MINING

Sunday is the corp mining day from 2pm to 2am.
If you're on during those times - you attend. The corp will receive 80% of all ores/minerals mined/refined to put towards corp ammo, ships and modules. The remaining 20% will be shared fairly between attendees.

5punkorp claim belts: 5-1, 5-2, 6-3 in JK.
These are to be stripped as often as possible. If you are mining, start in these before trying anywhere else. Mine veldspar after ark. We must keep the belts well stripped as they will cost the corp 90M per week.
You can mine in unclaimed belts, but check the Tenerifis forum first since this is the official claim thread. AFAIK only 6-2 is claimed by SSE.

Mining reparations.
For the 12 hours of Sunday called '5uper Happy 5punkorp Mining Funtime' 80% of all things mined go to the corp. This should pay the 90M per week the belts cost the corp as well as producing enough minerals for corp projects such as 5punkfleet. The remaining 20% needs to be shared equally. Similarly, when non corp or special ops are called, a method is required to share out proceeds evenly. Quinn has devised a method of doing so (see below). In short, we collect all the mined ore together in the hangar array while each person logs their time at the 'coal face' on the sheet so it can be divvied up fairly at the end of the week.

Now that I have your attention.

What I would like to do if possible is team people up.
1 miner
1 tank/hauler

This is the basics, anything else will just add to the 45/90 mill per hour that we can make.

Ok, mining ops in short there is none. I do believe Fea said it best. If you’re on, you’re mining/hauling/tanking. I am here to make money. I'm bringing down a hulk fully fitted with T2's stuff and I’m going to make this corp RICH! But I can’t do it alone... Say 5 miners that can run hulk's for 4 hours a day, 4 days a week. At 60 mill an hour that’s 4.8 bill for 4 days of work. Now at good prices.. 7.2 bill. Figure we can all put in around give or take an hour or 2... 16 hours in a week. Again some can do more, some need to do less.
(5 miners, 2 haulers, 2 tanks. As the miners go up so will the need for haulers, but tanks are pretty set. Its always nice to have someone that you can switch out with for a quick break.)

Now that I have your attention with throwing around that nice B word. What will it take to make those nice Isk's? Warm bodies and lots of them.

Making it fair for everyone. Let’s say KennyRogers puts in 10 hours a week, and Friznit puts in 20 hours a week. Honor system time. I'll need you guys to keep track of what you mined and for how long. Not everyone will be able to make it on at the exact same times. Sooo.. to keep things fair, you will need to update a spreadsheet that we’ll have on the web for everyone to manage.

Example:

KennyRogers, Dolly, Fea made 12,820 bistot, 8,600 Bright Bistot, and mined for 2 hours.

With everyone’s ores, and times for a week (5 or 6 days). At which time you can tell us to A) sell it and give you the money. B) You get the ore and do with it what you like. Please keep in mind that I am going to suggest that we try and jump haul some of the better refined ores out, and the local markets will be flooded. So it may take some time getting the money back.

Payments... Everyone that mines/hauls/tanks gets paid. 1 day a week, I’m thinking Sunday will be Corp day. Everything that we mine, for as long as we mine it goes to the corp. Figure an 8 hour in 1 day and good prices, 3.6 bill for the corp. Again, 1 day everything to corp, the rest of the week, we'll fill our pockets with ore, and see what we can make.

Now this gets even harder. Say you select option A and want to be paid. The amount that we will get paid can not be paid right away. Nor can it be paid all in one lump sum. Monies will need to be given out over time as ore is sold on the market. Honestly the quickest way to get your money is to take the ore and sell it your self or use it. Problem is... What are you going to do with 25 million Trit, 10 million Iso, 4 million Mega, and 3.2 million Zyd? I’m sure I got people thinking, “build a Big F’ing Ship!”

Next, If you do select option A, fee’s will be taken out to pay for the cost to jump the ore back to empire. This will need to be handled by 1 person, (god I hate that. And if anyone has a better ideas please say so.) This is so that moneys can be tracked easier. Items/ores will be sold by corp, and money will go into the corp. Donations will then be made to players as items/ores are sold.

This is new for me and we’ll I’m sure things will get changed around as needed. Please make your suggestions or comments how you see fit.

Not saying anything is the worst thing you could do at this point!

MILITARY & DEFENCE

ISS all hands operations take priority over all else.
If such an event is called for, anyone in 5punkorp and logged on must attend or log off. Otherwise the corp will suffer at the hands of management.

Corp ops supercede all personal and ISS non-obligatory ops.
I don't care if the alliance wants to fart-arse about when we're mining. If the corp is on all-hands mode, corp ops should take priority. Currently this is only Sundays regular mining op. Likewise personal stuff. If there is a corp op going on - YOU JOIN IN. Even if the only thing you can do is jump next door and provide scouting intel whilst you read Tolstoy.

Mining Defence
Whilst mining we should aim to have scouts in adjoining systems. If this is not possible we must react faster to hostile intel reports. If a hostile is reported in system, the weaker mining ships should retreat to the POS, where their pilots should jump into combat ships - even if just a tackler. If a hostile fleet is reported, all pilots should retreat to the POS or station (depending on location) and jump into a combat ship. State ship types and location into Calico and try to organise defence gangs if noone else is. We must take the lead if noone else does and aim to give a bloody nose to hostiles. But DO NOT RISK barges. They should be kept safe at all times. Only good intel will do so.

Intel & Channels

ISS obligatory channels are:

Calico - Local chit chat & intel requests.
Intel-Calico - INTEL REPORTS ONLY. Do not chatter in here or even ask for intel. It is intended as a FLASH-ALERT channel, i.e. If you see it flash, you need to pay attention.
Tenerifis Colony - New channel, will probably supercede Calico in the near future.

Rent Payments

+ Rent is set at 5mill per person per week, alts included, to be paid weekly and no later than midnight Saturday.

+ Payments to be made by cash transfer to 5punk Bank (the character.)

+ Please annotate all payment with Saturday's date (See columns on Google sheet.)

+ Once Friznit has verified payment your box on the sheet will turn green for that week.

+ Failure to pay for more than two weeks will get you booted from the corp.

+ Anyone who thinks they will have problems paying, will be away for an extended period or have any issues, please get in touch.

+ Alts that provide an exlusive service to the corp will be paid for by the corp. (Currently this only applies to Bragolannon who is a permanent cyno alt in GMLH and refuels the POS there.)

5punkfleet

+ eRabbit is the 5punfkeet coordinator, responsible for ensuring we have the right balance of ships, tactics and procedures.

+ All T1 cruisers, frigs, modules and ammo are built by the corp for free. This includes for ratting.

+ Ratting Boats: you may buy T1 bc/bs ratting boats off the corp at cost price (mineral exchange or isk equivalent at current empire market average). You will need to provide the BPC if the corp has none.

+ 5punkfleet Boats: you will be provided with a T1 bc/bs which you must platinum insure. When you pop you will pay the insurance money to the corp and get a replacement ship. Basically you're getting a bs for the amount it costs to insure it. In future the corp may be able to assist with the insurance as well.

+ T2: Currently no plans for the corp to finance T2 ships or mods for 5punkfleet in anyway.
