I meant to post about this after seeing that video a while ago. I'm very interested. I wasn't at first but after seeing how the game works, all the possible options and silliness I was sold on the idea. Any game that has farting has got to be on to a winner.
Their previous game, Costume Quest, was highly enjoyable and had a hint of psychonauts in it, if you have a console buy it!
Also Tim Schafer stated that the console only issue is because nobody wants to pay them for a PC version, and console is more marketable. Small-time developers get a hard time nowadays.

I feel bad about this, but it's true in Schaeffer's case. I bought Psychonaughts, but it was very much more a console game and I probably wouldn't have played it as long as I did if it wasn't for the humour.
Well costume quest is cheap and somewhat short, but in a good kind of way. in fact, I finished it 100% in one long evening. Still worth the price though.

That's wrong. I had a lot easier time playing it on PC than on PS2. In fact I have absolutely no idea why anyone thinks the console control scheme works - there's not enough buttons and the whole joystick thing is just not precise enough for me. Seriously, I'd rather play an FPS on a touchpad than a controller.
The only thing that makes the console superior is its portability, although you still need a TV, and its initial technological advantage, but if you are only away from your PC for short periods of time, a laptop works better.

Wait, what? I wasn't arguing the merits of consoles over PCs, just that I thought Psychonaughts was better suited to a console. It's a platform game (not an FPS, by the way), which always felt more natural on a joypad to me.
Oh god, the Meat Circus. Although I did complete that, so it can't have been that hard.
I'd love to see Double Fine's new bite-size wares released on PC, but I certainly don't consider it a waste if they're not.
