Looks good Bomber. To clarify a couple of points (you may wish to edit your post):
POS 3 (Large Amarr W9-DID) will become our new home in 'rifis.
POS 5 (ZXIC 6-6) will get shifted to empire and probably sold off.
We need to buy a small tower for GMLH unless someone has one handy. We sold the one we had to ISSN during the F4 op. They cost 100mill.
Large towers need to be emptied of fuel, offlined, then take 1 hour to unanchor which is when they're at their most vulnerable. Worst case they shoot you, steal the tower and giggle on the forum at your incompetence. There are times when Tycho is pretty empty...and you DT trick might just work though I've never tried it.
A large tower fits comfortably in a badger 2 (8km3)
Priotities I'll leave to you, but I think we should get POS 3 out soon as poss, since we will kinda need it down South.

Fab and Miro; when can you be on and what can you deply in W9? Haulers are most useful atm. If we need agressive support we'll have to book something.
Friz; Once I've talked to Fab and Miro, I'll come up with a timetable and we can book the ISSN jumphaulers / Fea to do the shifting, at least as far as W9/GMLH to avoid Checkpoint Chongus (as he's calling his sabre these days)

Miro can fly Gallante ships (minus Battle cruisers, ..don't ask)
Lara is a smattering mostly caldari with other races frigs.. As for haulers, miro is itty4 and lara is bestower..
For a good time? Um, maybe close to downtime tomorrow (Sat. GMT) or Sunday sometime as my Saturday is completly booked up.. (Yes Virginia, women do come before game).
I hope this helps..

I might be able to come on at some point tonight, but both my haulers have been jumped away. Is that other Amarr hauler still there for me to liberate for a short while or shall I come down from Empire in my IT V?

Worst case we can always jump some haulers down. I count 2 unpiloted bs's in W9 now: Fea's raven and a phoon which I think belongs to Ty. If required I can send Rydis down to move it out (or Jaeger if you're around).
I'd like to get POS 3 finished and packed up this afternoon if possible and make a start on POS 5 with a view to having it out by DT tomorrow.

OK,
I suggest that this evening we dimantle POS 5 down to guns and tower only. Then the tower and guns early tomorrow.
As fro POS 3, if that can come down this afternoon, then great .. possible to bring up POS 6 at the same time so we can set that up this evening, set it to shoot anything non-5punky and put any leftover ships ect in?
I may not be able to be on tonight (grumbling bubble) so anyone who can do the pos 5 stuff would be appreciated. There were several indys on sale in ZX yesterday (certainly were Gallente ones at least) so you should be able to pick one up. If not, give me a holler, I bought an iteron 3 which, with 3 expanders, will take 9km3 - enough for the tower. If I can't get on for long then I can at least get it contracted over to someone.
I'll plan to take the tower at POS 5 down early tomorrow (Sat) so any support from NA players would be appreciated.
btw, I watched Chongus fro an hour last night, he's definitely playing a log-on trap. You'll see Gypsy Djinn in local SU-2 23/7, Chongus will log on as soon as someone appears in local. My experience, however, is that you can scoot through with a single ship (or several at once) before Chongus has had a chance to log on. So long as you hit warp before he's dropped a dictor bubble, then you'll scoot right through it. Of course you still need to get throught he other side and I'm not sure if a dictor bubble will close the gate to him on an agression timer or not. He doesn't tend to keep eyes in neighbouring systems tough and clearly relies on Gypsy's eyes on local for a heads up. Once online, he usually logs after about 20 minutes so patience and you should be able to get through, but I suggest running for it rather than running through with a scout first and tipping him off, which will be guaranteed to get you snared. For this reason, only run through when you're carrying non-essentials as the time you try your luck, he'll be fast enough to catch you sans pants
Amblin wrote:I moved a bit of fuel around to keep the towers on for another day, that's all.
Question about that, if we set fuel levels to run out at, for example, 6am tomorrow, will the tower go offline immediately so we can scoop it straight away, or will we still need to wait an hour with it vulnerable?

That's a bad idea, offlining things is instantaneous, its the unanchoring that takes time. So having everything offline while unanchoring things one at a time can only end badly.
Ofcourse that's if my understanding of POS's is correct

ISS get a mail everytime an SoD POS goes up in ZXIC. Does anyone know if they get an alliance mail when we offline a tower? If so, the whole alliance will have about 30 mins to come pwn my lonely hauler and it'll only take one dude in a frigate, if I'm alone :s

I think only we will get a message once it goes offline, no-one else does AFAIK

Offlining takes no time. Unachoring takes twice as long as anchoring. No mail is sent. No point taking the fuel out until last safe moment.
Offline and unanchor modules one at a time, starting with the least important (silos) and put it into the hangar array ready for jumping out.
Once everything is clear, you should be left with 4 medium guns, a control tower with approx 1000m3 of fuel inside (about 3 hours).
Unanchor the guns, jump out or move to POS 4. Dump fuel, unanchor tower, sweat for an hour, move to POS 4, jump out.

Rab, the original plan was to offline/unanchor/remove guns away to POS 4 first then offline the tower with onlly it there. What I wasn't sure of is teh offlining. If it's instantaneous then it makes no difference, what I was trying to think around was having an "offlining" flag on teh tower for 1/2 an hour, therefore giving warning to a casual observer that they can attack in x minutes time.
Once offline, I understand that unanchoring the POS takes about 30 mins. This is then the only directly vulnerable time I suppose. We either have some support during that period or we risk it. My estimation is that there'll always be someone in system, last time I was theer early, n sx herself was the only IAC in system. Worst case; we lose the tower.
What risk are we willing to take, or should we wait till around DT?

POS 5 is down to CT and 4 small guns only now and I'm beefing up the defences at POS 4 a bit. I say to hell with it and offline in the wee hours. As you say, worst case we lose a tower (360mill...meh). Damn, I'd never have said that when we started on this venture!

right, I got on at 0600 and took the guns down. Tower went offline at 0700 but needs 2 hours. Now, I guess no-one will make a play for it until then so anyone who could get to ZXIC for around 0845 would be appreciated. ECM support please
/edit; done

Big thanks to Bomber and Fab - POS is down and ready to jump to empire. POS 4 is all beefed up and just needs some refuelling and fuel stocks. POS 3 nearly done and the small POS is in Hoth ready to jump down.
