Please post here your nominations for the 5punk Single Player Game of the Year 2010. Nominees of this award can be either very good or just plain 5punky, or maybe even both. We'll even let the company put it on their game box. Voting will commence in the New Year.

Skipping between Starcraft II and Mass Effect II, both have kept me super-entertained this year.
Just Cause II is super duper 5punky though, saddle-back riding a jet fighter.

Fallout New Vegas was the one I played the most with a variety of different characters. Mass Effect 2 was also awesome.

Red Dead Redemption, Mass Effect 2 and Fallout: New Vegas are my personal favs of 2010.

Dragon age was pretty good, but the best bioware release for me was mass effect two, it kind of ninja'd up on me as I avoided the hype as much as I could.

Mass Effect 2 and Fallout: New Vegas were both thoroughly enjoyable, but I think Me2 just edges it as it wasn't bugged as fuck.

DA:O was released in 2009, sadly.

Mass Effect 2 is my choice, without any doubts.

Just Cause 2, not for being an awesome game (it's too big and lacking in varied content) but it's rather silly and quite 5punky in a single player way.

OH yeah, I have to nominate S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat as well. It's the most refined S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game to date, and I definitely enjoyed it a lot.

Red Dead Redemption. Those of you will consoles will know this, but should it ever see a PC release, the rest will get to find out. It's perhaps a future "Burnout Paradise."

It takes a lot to get me off my PC and actually playing a console game instead, even Gran Turismo and Final Fantasy haven't suceeeded where this game has.

I vote Red Dead Redemption as well, it's one of those rare games that make me want to finish it 100%. If it ever comes out on PC it's guaranteed to be the game that makes you forget about Rockstar's previous failures.

Civ V may have got this had I had more time to play it, but such as it is I never get enough unbroken hours to get involved. So it's Mass Effect 2 for me as well. Very well told, very pretty, great characters. Also, a shining example of what can be done with a console conversion. Other developers take note.

Also, not that anyone played it, but I loved Sam & Max Season 3.

I played it. I wouldn't put it on the list of best games as it wasn't all great, but overall well worth playing.

Okay, I wouldn't say it was as mind-blowing as, say, Bioshock, it was generally enjoyable and the adventure game business is dying as it is.
