28 Weeks Later... on IMDb
I know there are some fans of the original,
28 Days Later...
Seven months after the rage virus has annihilated the British isles, the US army declares that the war against infection has been won, and that the reconstruction of the country can begin. In the first wave of returning refugees, a family is reunited--but one of them unwillingly carries a terrible secret. The virus is not yet dead, and this time, it is more dangerous than ever

Check out the boards on IMDb for the lolz. People having retarded arguments about the American involvement in the film.
If this ends up as good the previous film I'll be very pleasantly surprised. Even if it's only half as good it'll do, I love zombie films me.

Cool!
Even if this is a bit crap it will still be entertaining (unless they work very hard to royally screw it up) so I can't wait!

Oh how I do love the utter stupidity of the IMDb boards. I remember there was a big argument about 28 Days Later having racist undertones because the zombie that was chained up was black. oh noes, you can't chain up a black zombie, that's racist!

Yeah some of the arguments are stupid beyond belief.
I'm looking forward to this film, any idea when it will be out in the U.K.

I might have to re-watch 28 days later - as from memory I seem to think I compared it to a turd, and found the turd was more appealing.
Maybe I was too tired. I just remember lots of empty scenes of nothing happening in an abandoned city.

Ooh ooh. I love zombie films too. I'm not a big fan of the fast zombies, but they're not technically zombies anyway so I can live with it. It isn't my favourite film but I did enjoy it a lot and I'm looking forward to the sequel. As for American involvement, why not?

I have to agree with you. I've only seen it once and it was a long time ago. It probably didn't help that before it my mates were going on about how it was "the scariest film
evar!" - my expectations were a little high

Your mates are dumb. It's not really that scary, but it's fucking awesome.

They really, really are. One of them thought the 3rd Matrix film was better than Scarface. I still shake my head in disbelief at that today.

I was surprised when my film buddy at work said it was scary (he was the one that told me about this) but I guess it's different if you watch it at the cinema like he did.

I didn't think the first one was all that good, granted I wasn't paying attention properly when watching it but I couldn't really get into it. Which is odd because I normally love a good zombie film.

I agree wholeheartedly. I really don't know why people love Scarface so much. The only good part is the last 15 minutes of it.
