Fontastic survey

Following on from an
article I read the other day, I wonder: what is your favourite font/typeface?
I prefer Verdana or Tahoma personally, but I'm also quite fond of Calibri. Conversely, two of my immediate managers both type all of their emails in Comic Sans. No shitting.
So, pointless as this may be, get voting!

I used to be a Tahoma advocate, but have since switched to the pleasantly letter-spaced verdana.
All of the Microsoft new-generation fonts that came with Office 07 (the ones beginning with C) are great, too.

Calibri, but I also like Lucida Console and Fixedsys. I use Verdana with a -2 letter spacing quite a bit.

I'd love to use Calibri for web projects but it's tiny compared to similar fonts. I need to get my font-size-adjust on.
Oh and of course I favour
Helvetica.

Verdana is the new TNR. Thanks to JSP101 The Defence Writing Handbook (aka the purple pillow), I wrote everything in 11.5 TNR for years. Since moving to IT it's now all Arial 12. Personal stuff such as CVs etc are in Verdana though. Never used anything else.

Palatino Linotype
Think my CV's in Verdana though, it's more likely to be installed.

That's cheating, and you know it. It's everyone's favourite, subconsciously.

It's the font SLA is written in. I got it for my sourcebooks.

I find this thread confusing. Maybe I should go pick up a monkey wrench and fix my truck?

Depends what I'm doing, but my most favouritest (the one I use for email at work) is Tahoma 10pt., in dark blue.

What ever the default is. Or Verdana.

I don't actually use it much but I like Courier as it's often used for command line interfaces.

The Boss Joose and Me had at the Supa Sekrit used Comic Sans in all his emails.
*shudder*

It caused much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Pertinant article here, "What's so wrong with Comic Sans?"
Most importantly is that they say they want to stop it being misused, instead of used altogether.
It has its uses, just not many.
