Alright, calling all 5podcasters.

http://www.5punk.co.uk/phpbb/scheduler. ... ow&id=2462

Recording at 7:30 - 8:30ish on an indeterminate night, place your bets now.

17th and 18th are off limits for me unfortunately, so it depends how long you want to wait, or if you want a different host? Or is Sunday okay?

Will be posting show-notes here, for pre and post recording.

7:30-8:30 are out for me for pretty much every night for the next 10 years, barring nights when Sprog isn't here.

Sunday sounds good to me.

Maybe. I can't really add anything interesting to the whole as you heard last time, but if you need an extra to laugh at Roman's horrible jokes just shout at me.

Don't be so humble. You were as interesting and constructive as any of us in the last one. Not that I want to be damning by faint praise :P

I'll be free if your looking for a more mature (purile.. non sensical) view on gaming.

I can also keep you young whippersnappers in line..

I'm happy to contribute at some point. I'm out for dinner tomorrow night and we're hiring out the back room of our local for a gaming night on Saturday. After that though, most nights are good.

Not sure what I'd contribute though. DIY tips? A review of Turkey as a holiday destination?

I'm out for the next few weeks too. :(

Dragon Age 2 Trailer
- Pete wants to rant about this
- Impressions of the first game
- Hopes for the new gams

Minecraft
- What are we doing in SP/MP
- What we did on the original creative server, cheese rooms etc.
- Impressions and expectations

Our recent purchases
- Steam purchases, first impressions

Something else to note about Minceraft is the interesting development model Notch is using. I suspect he's not the first, but I've never seen open development used so effectively.

I see what you're getting at but I'm not sure that's a good term for it. To me it implies "open source", which I don't think it is, yet. Although I can't think of a better term for "allowing the customer to use the product before it's finished and have a say on it's development". Which I guess is the kind of thing you meant.

And I'm probably being a bit of a pedant.

Recorded, made a short list of things we missed, that we want to talk about next time.
- Far Cry 2
- Minecraft
- Civ 5
- World of Darkness
- Comics

Got about an hour's worth of nonsense, Wiggy's gonna have a bash at it tomorrow.

Sorry it took so long - I've not really been able to look at it till today.

That was a far nicer amount of time, and the conversations flowed nicely along. It seemed to just tail off at the end though with no real conclusion. Not that a conclusion is necessarily required, but some sort of closure. Rants seem to be amusing too, I like that. Lots of improvement on last time, well done.

I can't think of a good way to end them. I had to eventually just say "We have to stop talking now."
Any ideas?

Gonna take a listen now, thanks Wiggy!

Ahaha! Well done for editing that last bit in Wiggy!

I thought my voice had got better through that given it was incredibly painful, but listening back it sounds a bit haggard.

Thanks again to everyone who turned up, still got a few kinks to work out in the recording process (me coming up with a pre-scripted introduction and ending) and there were still one or two moments of us talking over one another, but much better than the pilot.

We also managed to chop our recording time down by two thirds, good job!
Thanks again to Wiggy for editing half of the crap out of the finished product.
Thanks to Pete for coming up with a suitable intro/outro theme tune.

Take a listen and let us know what you think, any constructive criticism you might have, suggestions for improvement etc. If you'd like to take part in the next episode (if indeed you think it's worth continuing!) then let us know here.
