Right, it has been decided that, as you won't be sick enough of having politics and that with the run up to the election, we've decided to have a series of discussions on the kind of issues that will come up.
This will be slightly different to regular discussions in that they will be fairly tightly moderated so there will be a few ground rules for them:

1. You do not talk about Robot Club
2. You do not talk about Robot Club No Smoking
3. If someone's opinion is different to yours, try to persuade them or discuss it properly, this is not the place for shouting until people cave in or name calling.
4. Arguments should not be made personal, if you have a disagreement this does not mean you have to fall out with said person
5. Please try to keep on topic, severe deviations with either get split off or just dropped from the thread
6. No flaming. Kitten pics to defuse arguments must be also be avoided
7. If you feel you have something to say about the issue, please say it. Don't be afraid to get involved
