Battlefield 2 = BF2 = BEEF!
So, by applying different and tasty food animal to BFBC2 we get bacon.
It was bacronymed with BAttlefield bad COmpaNy, but it was mostly Berk slurring incoherently on werdspeak3 during the first few hours of the beta that generated the pig flavoured name.
