Shadowrun publisher in trouble

Somewhat ironic, considering what the game is about, but apparently Catalyst Games Labs (the people who make Shadowrun and Eclipse Phase) have misplaced $850k. Whoops!
Official Statement on whats happened
Of course, the semi-official forums Dumpshock have exploded with much wailing and tearing of clothes. A panicy minority seem to think the this is The End, some are already talking about which company should buy the licence (please god, if this happens, dont let it be WotC), and some are pointing at the fact that this isnt the first time something like this has happened to SR, and its still going. Indeed, there are other RPG companies that have had it worse, and are still going. Im inclined to agree with the latter group, but as there are a lot of odd rumours and conflicting information going around, im going to wait and see before I come to any conclusions.
I'll be keeping an eye on whats happening, and keep you all informed.
I dont think, whatever happens, that it will affect us much. SR4 is well established now, so even if the absolute worst happens, CGL fold and no-one buys the licence, we would still have plenty to keep us going indefinately. Dont forget, SLA hasnt had anything new in years, we still play that just fine.
