Alpha testing is what, Trevor? Don't keep us in suspense. And get your XFire sorted.

I've seen screenshots of this, it's for FutureBEEF. It doesn't look bad from what I've seen, although all it looks to be at the moment is the normal models replaced by Star Wars ones. They look good though, and it seems you get the arctic Stormtroopers on the snowy maps and normal ones on the desert maps, which is nice.

w00t! this could be very cool.
I guess the mechs would be replaced with AT-ST's or AT-AT's and the titan would be a Star Destroyer or Correllian Cruiser?

All too large scale. You might get away with the AT-ST, but the capital ships would take up the whole map if they were to scale. I think there's a sort of personal walker vehicle thing in the extended universe, and there's also a thing called a floating fortress. I dunno though, there's nothing in the Star Wars universe that I've seen that fit any of the futurebeef vehicles off the top of my head

AT-AT's could be used as titans but obviously the problem with that is that the rebels don't have them or anything I can think of thats similar, but they do move slow and have large guns and the like on them similar to titans.
Walkers obviously AT-ST, again with the rebel alliance not having them but if we assume that they stole them and AT-AT's too then this will all work out, if Lucas can introduce microbes causing the jedi to be able to use the horse then I'm sure people can pretend the rebels stole some Imp equipment, maybe even modifying it to there own style.
Imperial - Tanks could be Sabre class figting tanks, not sure if they got updated when clone troopers became Storm troopers.
Rebel Tanks - T4-B Heavy Tanks or T2-B.
Troop Transport thigies like APC's
Imperial - Only thing I know of that transports troops is walkers and they are a tad too big for this purpose, so I ran a dry here.
Rebel - Skiffs maybe?
Flying- Tie classes and x/y/insert letter here wings.

I can see this getting nerdy, but here we go...

Titans have several things in FutureBEEF that characterise them: they fly, they have underside guns, top guns and an aircraft hangar. Assuming that they're only re-modelling then only a capital ship would do for this. A Corellian Corvette would probably fit the bill for both sides, and both sides used them, so that's not too big an issue. They have capacity for atmospheric flight, turrets top and bottom, and a small hangar. The Empire would be more likely to use a Victory class Star Destroyer for Capital scale atmospheric support (IMHO), but at 900m long to the Corvette's 150m they're a bit impractical for the game.

The AT-ST is actually a better fit than I originally thought, now I've thought about it some more. Fitted with guns and a grenade launcher (could easily enough pass off as the rocket launcher on the walker), and a crew of 2 it's a close fit. A bit bigger than 2142's battle walkers, but close enough. As you said, it's not unfeasible for the Rebels to be using stolen (and modified) ones. The AT-PT is a closer scale, but I reckon the AT-ST fits the role better and is more recognisable.

I assume these have come from a game, as I've not heard of them until now. The Rebel ones look to fit the bill though. Still can't think of an Imperial equivalent apart from those strange, rediculous looking TIE Crawlers.

There's a predecessor to the AT-AT which looks like an AT-AT body on tracks, which might do the trick (although it's still quite large). Rebels, I've no idea.

Those gunships from Clone Wars would have fit nicely, but it's the wrong timeline. I'm not keen on the idea of Starfighters being involved in ground support - if it was common practice then why were the AT-ATs on Hoth not covered by the swarms of TIEs that would be accompanying that many Star Destroyers. Still, Lambda shuttles would fit the role of transport nicely for both sides, as would assault shuttles for the Empire. The gunships could be replaced by Assault Gunboats and, as you say, X- or Y-Wings.
There's also the jeeps. It'd be nice to see the Empire using speeder bikes (although you'd lose the third passenger slot), and the Rebels had armed lanspeeders in a lot of the extended universe.
EDIT: /nerd mode deactivate

did the jawas scratch build their crawler?i assume its a similar size, and it'd do the job, especially if compared to the A5 juggernaut

also, wikifu gives this as well, and it even has titan in the name!

Nah they knicked it and kitted it out for themselves. Was an old minning thing I think.

This, the Jawas are scavengers. Also, KotOR 1 gives some background info on Tatooine. The planet had been settled and abandoned multiple times in the past, so there is probably a lot of stuff for them to find.

That is possibly the greatest addition that could have ever been added.
