Generally have a great dislike for securom, but that's the most reasonable/tolerable version I've seen so whatever

Yeah. My beef (swidt) with SecuROM was that it's installed as a service and can be difficult to get rid of. This wrapper solution sounds fine and dandy.

Oddly, that's very circa 2000 sans the online bit. Which is a good thing.
I mean, it won't do anything at all to deter pirates for more than a day or two, but it's glad they've seen sense and made something like the days of old which is no more intrusive or obtusive than a CD check.
I quite like the fact that auth and de-auth is handled pretty much automatically, and narf, BF is an online game, so it's nice to be able to auth it once at install and not have to use the DVD again, which is the main reason I crack most of my games anyway.

I need 10 computers so I can play the single player that many times at once!
