I am wondering who are our allies and which alliances are aligning with IAC?

It's gonna be a pain in the ass for all of us, but given this latest news I'm gonna have to crack down on security again. I'm glad to say I have 1000% confidence in most of you and more so I count you all as friends so there's no need to be much more draconian than we already are.
GH-SC is also involved in our battle vs. IAC. I bet many people do not know who GH-SC is and what they are about. In order to understand, take 20 minutes and read this article (click the pictures).

These people have made careers out of ruining corps and alliances through long term infiltration and corp theft.

Do NOT become a victim.

Steps for safety:

-Do not use a corporate hangar to distribute military supplies and ships. Have a trusted quartermaster distribute supplies via requisitions etc.
-Remove hangar and ESPECIALLY POS roles from people that you do not have 1000% confidence in.
-Do not use passwords on your POS shields, either check the allow corp and allow alliance boxes or don't let anyone in at all. Yesterday an IAC pilot had the password for the 8-1 pos in ZX.
-Do not post critical op information on your corp forums. Feel free to name dates and times and rally points, but not objectives or routes.
-Move your corp wallet into an alt of the CEO or a trusted director, only keep enough there to manage daily operations.
-Back to POSs, under the ACCESS tab when you manage a tower, set all access to roles, not corporation or alliance.
-Make sure that NOONE can take BPOS out of hangars, use a BPO hangar where only directors can take.
-Examine anyone who has joined your corp in the last 30 days or so. Don't go crazy and throw people out, but make sure you know who you're flying with.
-Put a hold on all recruitment until we're done with this war.

Feel free to post more if anyone can think of it.

So GH-SC are shooting IAC on our side? Cool, but yea, wouldn't be surprised if they used the oppurtunity to infiltrate some corps.

Edit... Oh they're shooting us? Pfft, we're all the trend.

If you're planning on acting on the above, do it quick, as you've just told any potential spies they have only a tiny window left to do their damage.

*frantically loads eve*

narf there are a lot of new people joining 5punkorp at the moment and I honestly have no idea who any of them are...? I am not suggesting they are spies or anything like that, it's just its gone from a tight group of people I know 95% of to a larger group I know <50% of. Who are these new people?

I fully support any anal security measures, for example I know I could spend the corps wallet (easy for me to put 1 unit of veld on market and buy it for 800mil with the corp wallet - even tho I can't directly xfer the iskies to myself). Whilst I am a very trustworthy person, (honest), I have no need for such a power, and perhaps if I did need to spend the corps isk you would be better xfering it to my char first.

I think ISS would be a very hard alliance to hurt as it has the most member corps of all of them (ISSN and Prax the obv 2 targets). Band of Brothers on the other hand would only need a handful of spies, one in each corp, and bring the whole alliance to their knees.

I think most of the new people are fw4ppers, who can't get near 5punkorp in under a month (or if we know them) anywho so don't fret :)

By default all new members only get the '5punker' title until we get to know them better. This includes access to Ammo and Loot, give access to POS modules (incl online/offline/unanchor ability) but that's about it. No other way round it since otherwise they'd be pretty fecked in W9.

So basically, if someone wanted to fuck us over, they could run off with the ammo/loot (meh) or take all the fuel out of the towers (eep) or steal all our ships from the ship array (d'oh).

This is why the reserves are in the secure hangar and people should only keep their ratting boat and one PvP ship in W9. The barges and haulers should all be corp boats and everything else kept in station.
