Potential attack in ZXIC

The fleet is ordered into heightened state of alertness.
A coalition of corporations and alliances who live near ISS Marginis/Tycho are finalising plans to attack ISS in ZXIC.
We need to prepare for this. The fleet must converge on Tycho and the emergency stash of POS towers must be anchored and onlined in prepation for this assault.
We believe they will strike the first blow today, Saturday, so time is of the essence.
We have contacted our allies about this - ISS will not stand alone in this fight.

yer thats what i thought and isure i didnt hear one bit of intel there was a fleet forming on there part so that was weird.
Nice to be Sq Leader tho and i like the new Features so i going to try and lead a Squad some point and warm up my eve leadership skills for combat

If this afternoon turns out to be a ruse to get a freighter escort together then ISS management are going to find themselves in trouble when they really need a defence fleet put together in a hurry.

It's not a ruse... check alliance mail DED reports, ISSN and other corps have spammed every moon in ZX with a POS. IAC have moved everything they have out of KDF and ZX and things have been going odd apparently. It may turn out to be a false alarm, but I think ISS Management actually believe there's a threat.

i think they will attack! because why on earth world they move all there stuff from are stations! So now i going to have work my arse off to move my dam freigther to empire because i need money and i not making alot atm. This kicks off i going to fly T1 jamming frigs which not great!
So soon i have a buyer i going to do some work with north westen. I will fight like hell and i will have a world with some pals to help out too if i can if this kicks off.

If they attack, ISS seriously need to learn how to not suck. I got turned away from a fleet, that was in ZXIC, while I was in ZXIC, cos apparently they'd closed invites. In what way is that a decent way to run a fleet, turn away more fleet members, cos obviously their fleet was big enough and invincible... If there's a decent and legitimate reason for closing invites please let me know, many thanks.
P.S. Was that a rant? Think that may have been a rant... sorry.

The first hour of any ISS op is forming gang. Since Kali, it takes even longer to sort peeps into squads. So they close invites to ease the situation. Surely u can see that getting snipers into a squad is worth spending 2 hours.

Yea, I can understand closing invitations to get on top of them, but they were hardly getting swamped with invitations and the fleet was sat at a POS, I think, when I tried to get an invite.

You must have been unlucky; I got invited (twice) without even requesting an invite. True they put me in a support squad, when I was flying a Megathron and they kept forgetting to gang-warp that particular squad. I finally made it into the sniping squad in time to dock at Tycho for the night.
Oh what larks.
