If SW:TOR doesn't get released near that date, might have to try that one out for a month...
I'm trying not to get my hopes up about SW:TOR, but its too late...I'm really looking forward to it. Bioware is having a good run and I hope they can continue it with an MMO.Dog Pants wrote:Still, one day somebody has to release a half decent one.
It's sad but true. Either that or until Blizzard stop releasing content for Warcraft. Which won't be for at least another two years.Baliame wrote:Everything ends up trying to be WoW, no matter what the setting is, until the industry gives up on that there is no hope.

Sort of yes. It should be, but the internets are filled with the wailings of people who have the subscription deal, and still haven't got a beta invite. The official line is "we promised you an invite, we didn't say you would get it first", which seems a bit stinky.HereComesPete wrote:
That.
Is this the one from cryptic that 6 month/lifetime subs got access too? Or is that something else? I haven't been paying attention.

I see Everquest is releasing a new expansion this month. From the few things I read...its taking another step toward being WoW-ish.Dog Pants wrote:Either that or until Blizzard stop releasing content for Warcraft.
There's your problem, I think empty servers attract a lot of new players, which means a lot of lowbies.Akiakaiu wrote:That and even on the "low" populated servers I'm still fighting 10 people for the same named bear ass.
Yeah locked into US/Oceania/Central America or something, I was looking to see if I could on this trial. Not sure if I could just grab an EU client or if it looked at IPs, and I figured for a 10 day trial wasn't worth bugging anyone about it. Was all gonna comefriznit wrote:
Edit: though I guess you're locked into US side only?
Yeah, what the cock is going on with that? The open beta's been announced for Jan 12, hardly leaves much time for the closed one.Joose wrote:Sort of yes. I think to get on EU all you need to do is to get an EU sub (http://eu.battle.net) and change one of the files in your client to point to the EU realm list.Akiakaiu wrote:

Frizzy.
Was a bit surprised no one killed me while collecting raptor asses like they used too. Got a 42 rogue on a PvP server who used to get deaded every 20min or so. Maybe all the griefers leveled?
