The full game is free on Steam this weekend, 1.7 days left at the time of writing.
The idea is nice (enter people's dreams and kill their nightmares) but the game itself is just a flat-out first-person shooter. Hordes of enemies as you just move from one locked room to another slaying everything with normal weapons plus a couple of magic-like attacks which upgrade if you don't die.
Big bosses at the end of each level, the screenshots on Steam should tell you all you need to know about the enemy AI.
