Dragon Age: Origins - which edition?

I'm just curious as to how many people have got the vanilla DA:O, and how many have the Digital Deluxe Edition. I'll not be buying the game for a few weeks yet, but I'm wondering if the shinier one is worth the extra tenner or not?

I paid £25 and I don't care about not having a keep or whatever it is the £40 edition gets you. I still get to have Shale and the blood dragon armour. That is, if Shale actually worked and if I didn't sell the blood dragon armour.

I 'bought' the shiney version, but it is worth nothing that the UK version only has warden's keep, blood dragon armour and shale. but all of these things make it worth your while.

EDIT: apparently shale comes in all new versions, no matter what edition.

You can always turn it off and back on will re-appear in your inventory.

Deluxe is just Vanilla + £10 DLC pack. So you can get them later anyway, if you like it enough.

:above: I needed to go cheap and it doesn't seem worth it even if I had the money.

Just remember, the DLC has the best sword in the game, one of the best armors, the weapon smith sells really nice socketed weapons (his armors are very very nice too), and there is the unlimited party chest.

Did anyone see a date on the new Return to Ostagar DLC release?

Edit: almost forgot, I bought the Deluxe edition 2x, one for me and one for my gf.

Deluxe.

Ignore Shada, he doesn't know the awesomeness of having a Party Storage Chest ala Diablo, plus the armour you get there is a great early-mid armour.

Worth it for that and the other dlc.

At the keep it's right next to the guy who took you there.

Party storage chest? I have one of those in my camp thanks to a mod, why would I pay £15 for that?

After you clear the Keep out and do all the quests, leave and return later and you get the chest, the awesome weaponsmith (who'll make the awesome Starfang sword) and a not bad shop.

Maybe equipment matters more after lvl 11(Circle of Magi done) but considering its just me and 3 naked chicks (MILF included) the non-deluxe items are keeping the fights easy enough on "normal".

I mean, sure it'd be fun having a combat shotgun to kill a rat but I already have a free sawed-off double barrel shotgun that works quite well.

I have vanilla, but I bought the Keep DLC so I have have a box to put all my crafting materials in, of which I used not a single one and it made that man with the exclamation mark in my camp go away.

Got a couple of okay blood magic spells from in there, plus some armour I used for quite a while.

It could have been a lot better, there was one point where you got attacked in camp and it suggested you'd have to use the keep to camp from now on and I was expecting to be able to do it up Fallout 3-style or it be like the town in Neverwinter 2 where you get various merchants to move in, but it was just two shops outside and a chest and I couldn't even go inside.
