Spec me an upgrade or my missus a new comp

My missus has finally decided that she needs to replace her laptop and that it would probably be better to invest in a desktop for better performance etc. At the same time I am debating upgrading certain bits of my own machine to bring it up to par (it is starting to struggle a bit using two screens, having about 5 tabs in ffox open and about 4 programmes running with only 2GB RAM) So, I plan on passing over some of bits and repalcing them with shinier parts.
What I have and plan on passing over:

Abit IP35 mobo with core 2 duo (3.33GHz)
2GB DDR2 RAM
Possibly my graphics card too, Gefore 8800 GLS (I THINK, will check later to make sure)

So, what I need from you guys are decent parts to replace the bits from my rig and half decent parts to make up a decent enough rig for my missus (website work and wow/guild wars) or a good deal for a complete rig and I will update my own later.

Grassy arse.

You'll probably be okay with more ram unless you fancy playing newer games in shiny.

I'll do that, should postpone getting new mobo, etc for another 6 months. Will see about getting the OH a semi decent comp and she can have my bits  when I do eventually upgrade.

I've just built two basic machines that I'm looking to sell. 2.2/2.4 dual core celerons with 2GB ram and onboard graphics - they can cope easily with normal stuff and a few games. I put a 9400GT in one for testing, and it can launch most games - running older ones like WoW and FarCry well, with a better card it could run anything.

Looking for £250 each for the base machines, although if you need a 3D card or Windows that cost will need adding on. No screens, mice or keyboards, but I'll try and find a power cable.
