Graphic Novels?

To make this thread semi-useful, let's share some Graphic Novels we've enjoyed.

Not sure thats strictly accurate there, grimgrim. If there is a certificate on the cover, maybe, but just having a quick skim through my collection shows that a bunch that I wouldnt want a kid reading dont have any kind of restriction label.

Watchmen: Contains loads of nudity, violence etc; no rating.
Sin City, more nudity, more violence, a little rape and drug use: no rating.
Ultimates: partial nudity, people being eaten, fair amount of gore etc: no rating.

To add to Grimmie's list with added suitability for minors commentary;
V for Vendetta - no sex, but attempted rape and lots of knife fights.
From Hell - about Jack the ripper, so ... no, just no.
Sandman Series - all about death. definitely includes some nudity but probably ok for today's teenagers
Transmetropolitan - I've read about half of these, apparantly it goes a bit mad ... but in a bad way, later on. Chock full of swearing and leudness, guaranteed to get today's yoot repeating words too rude for their parents to know. Oh, and glorifies drugs and tatooing, in rather a big way
Tank Girl - includes sex with kangaroos, but only when it's funny.
DR & Quinch - General delinquency but I don't think any swearing or nudity. should be required reading for today's yoot if only to demonstrate to them that standing outside a local corner shop scaring old ladies is severely lightweight when you could be out making alien planets' continents spell rude words.

Jim Starlin was one of my favorite artists/writer. Dreadstar turned into a 40(?) issue series although he let someone else write/draw it 1/2 way thru...

Jim Starlinwas know for revamping the Marvel characters Captain Marvel and Adam Warlock, and for creating or co-creating the characters Thanos and Shang-Chi, Master of Kung Fu. All was awesome!

I saw him at a Chicago ComicCon and have some original artwork.

btw Rifts enthusiasts...Dreadstar had a Psi-Sword.
