Hey....so I just registered after much badgering (ooo-er) by my uncle Jockgit.

Let me tell you a little about me.

As a regular subscriber to the world famous b3ta newsletter, I have become comfortable with the particular brand of humour that would get great entertainment from calling their website 5punk....

I live in Scotland (yes, that bit at the top of the map marked, "here be dragons") and I am one of the admins at Scotland's Premier LAN Party, Gumpcom (visit www.gumpcom.com for more details). So I will be spamming you guys to tell you about every event. More on that later.

I also host The Sideshow and Gump Show on Total Gaming Radio (www.totalgamingradio.com), every Friday night 1900-2200 GMT (ooo how international) 8pm-11pm UK Time (at least till the end of this month. You fella's are welcome to join us in irc (irc.coldfront.net, #totalgaming-radio) and listen in to the madness that ensues.

Other than that, my primary preoccupation right now is EVE Online (or Space Chess i believe it's referred too). I belong to the Rodents of Unusual Size corp and we can often be found scrabbling around Metropolis looking for a good scrap. I saw that there is a 5punk corp knocking around and i did try to contract some exotic dancers that way, but no-one accepted the contract :(

So, that's me. Look forward to chatting to y'all and maybe picking up a game of whatever happens to be going on. I have been known to play the odd round of CSS Gungame, DoD Sauce & TF2. Oh, and if anyone would be up for some Defcon, that'd be nice.

Yours in 5punk,
Sideshow

Sideshow Jock!

Welcome to 5punk, about time that you signed up. Eve is fairly under populated 5punkwise these days and sadly 5punkorp is very dormant. I'm the only regular player left on there (Friznit in game too), so feel free to drop me a line. We still have a public channel called X-5punkers for all the 5punk types who drop in once in a blue moon. What's your in game name?

You tell us about your radio show 22 minutes after it finishes? That's just teasing. Good to have you along with such pedigree at any rate. And I believe the standard Eve greeting is /me bums. Ah, those halcyon days of mass bumming gank mobs on the edges of 0.0.

Anyway, loes!

You do not use that expression ever again, it's been invented by a mad scotspoultry, and we do not want to inflate his ego.
Sideshow wrote:CSS Gungame, DoD Sauce, TF2, Defcon
I used to do gungame (and also surf), it's great fun, and lately I've been playing a lot of TF2 along with slinger, you could join up sometime I suppose. There's also a fair few of us who has Defcon, a revival might be imminent. Finally, we played DoD once a month earlier, I don't know what happened to it, but the sheer amount of terrible Valve put into that game was fun for a while.

My sincere apologies. I will try my best to not inflate his already giant ego anymore than absolutely neccessary (for obtaining christmas presents/ items of value/hard cash from him).

And it is very nice to be here :)

So our Scotland contingent increases again, yet I think I'm still the only one of us in the South West. I feel so alone...
