Another four player co-op, you've probably read all about it by now - link
here if not.
It's £24.99 from game on free delivery, £26.99 on
steam right now with a 10% off.
I bought it after cancelling my game pre-order, that extra is only what I was paying in express postage.

Can someone do me a quick summary of what it should be like? Something akin to Fallout 3 style rpg?

I'll be getting this, but in disc form, they're charging me more again. I think I should complain to Gabe Newell, maybe he'll fly me to valve HQ!

Yeah. I pre-ordered this as well. So now I have this, L4D2, and Alpha Protocol waiting for me.

Oh wait, I don't have to get this in disc form. As Deject pointed out I could just ask someone from a cheaper zone (that means any of you) to give it to me as a present, then pay them for it.
I'll ask again once I get the required cash together.

I've been looking forward to this for a while now. Think I'll be going for the DVD version though, as downloads aren't really a viable option for me.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you play this in your own little RPG world, dipping in and out of other peoples' for multiplayer coop goodness with the same character. Like a hybrid single/multiplayer. I'll be extremely disappointed if it's a L4D affair when I spend the very brief amount of time I can play online staring at a full server.

It is singleplayer but also allows you to travel to locations to meet up/fight with/against other real pc's in a co-op or pvp fashion.
It seems like a small step away from a mmong where the instances are each individuals own pc generated world. I don't know exactly how this will work out, but the levelling and such appears to have balancing that allows someone who's on less often to get a boost and play close to the higher chars skill level.
The fact it has tuvan throat singing mixed with some sort of asian synth-rock sound track is also excellent.
Also - Go watch the claptrap episodes if you haven't already. Lovely bit of piss take at bale's outburst.

GiantBomb posted a 32 minute video of some co-op and single player gameplay.

Pre ordered off Amazon. Although Steam might actually be faster this time due to mail strikes...

Considering I have no pc at uni, but my 360 i'm hesitant. If it worked as well as fo3 i'll be all over it.

Hehe, I don't think there's ever been an exchange rate that would produce that difference.
If necessary I'm sure peeps can buy and gift copies of games through steam at the cheaper prices and get paid in bumhugs and rimming etc. Or monies if they insist.

Yeah if anyone wants, I can do the gifting if you send me the money over PayPal, you'll be paying merkin prices!
