Lost Land of the Volcano - BBC

Lost Land of the Volcano is the documentary related to the story in the press last week about a new giant rat that was found. However, having loaded up the iplayer to watch it expecting a usual BBC Nature documentary, I was a bit disappointed to find it was a documentary about scientists in the jungle, with the occasional animal thrown in. There's too much peril about people on boats and climbing rocks, with music that I can only think of as being suitable for the Crystal Maze, and not nearly enough about interesting animals. It's only 3 episodes, and I'll probably watch them all, but I'll spend the whole time thinking of The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou - the similarities are scary.

I just finished reading 'Domain', so the last thing I want to see are giant rats.

Hehe, fear inducing bit of James Herbert eh? I didn't go near rats for a bit after reading that.

The worst thing is my backyard has a little creek at the back, meaning there are rats popping up all over the garden every now and then.
Hektor doesn't give a shit either.
