Anyone else (trying) to play this at the moment? I'd not slaughtered any Frenchmen for a while so I thought I'd have another play. It's been patched to 1.3.1 since I last played but I'm now experiencing consistent, random CTD's about 10 to 15 mins into playing. Tried all the usual things (complete reinstall, updated drivers, memtest, defrag, DX10 reinstall, starting from .exe instead of Steam launcher, sacrificed a goat etc) but getting the same error each time.

I'm not going to ask for help here, because extensive googlage and forum whoring has shown many other people having similar problems and fuck all solutions or even acknowledgement from the devs. Just wanted to know if any other 5punkers have had similar problems?

Does it work if you don't patch it beyond where you had it before, or are you playing multiplayer games where the patch is required? I haven't touched it in ages as I got stuck in the campaign when my troops kept starving to death.

I was quite surprised to see a recent patch for Warcraft 3, 1.24b, but sadly it black-screens when starting the penultimate Human campaign, so I went back to 1.24a.
