What do you normally listen to during the day?

WOO!
First post
So, what is it? I tend to go for metal/rock type things most of the time as well as classic music for both relaxing and freaking people out
[edit] ooooh, I command you to listen to Rodrigo Y Gabriella - Mexican guitarists but doing random songs and throwing in random pieces from other songs absolutely seamlessly. Phenomenally good

Saw them live a couple of years back and they're strumming so fast you can't see their hands

I tend to listen to Indie/Rock whilst listening to my Stereo/MP3 player at home.
Whilst on the move or on holiday, I pretty much listen to anything and everything on my MP3 player which also includes, dance, hip-hop and old classics.
In the car, I listen to Radio 1 (until I get myself a shiney new DAB radio) as everythign else is even more annoying than Radio 1.
Sometimes I listen to a CD in the car, but I usually get fed up of the same CD as I don't rotate them enough.
If I'm going out drinking, I tend to go for either underground clubs playing Hard House music, or the usual bars along the waterfront in the city centre, and I "abide" the R&B that pops up along the way.
I've seen a few bands (mostly Indie ones) playing live, but I tend to go to festivals to get my fix instead, as it works out cheaper, and is a lot more enjoyable if you don't like the act.

I rarely listen to music during the day unless the radio's on at work, but my playlists for when I am listening to music consist of indy, rock, dance, hip-hop and 80s. I certainly love my 80s, and I've seen Bryan Adams and Sting (seperately) in concert.

Most anything, bit o' rock here, bit o' chillout there, bit o' house everywhere.
I'm currently enjoying the tag-radio that the LastFM software gives you.
Slap a search in for an artist or genre, select the ones it gives you from the broad list, and hit play.

This week, I have had on my phone/mp3 wotsit:
Pearl Jam: Live on Two Legs
Seu Jorge: Life Aquatic Studio Sessions
Tool: 10,000 Days
I only have a 256MB card at the mo, so I'm somewhat limited in terms of choice at any one time.

I don't have any truck with "genres" (I find them all to be entirely misleading and generally pointless), so instead have a brief list of the bands that have been on my mp3 player recently:
The Fall, Pearl Jam, Joy Division, The Pixies, Queens of the Stone Age, The Smiths, Two Lone Swordsmen.
Also can someone answer me this question? Who the fuck is buying these My Chemical Romance and Panic at the Disco records? They're really fucking shite!

I tend to just have most of my collection on shuffle in the day, and just skip the really shite songs that come on.

Teeny boppers?
I mostly stick on pandora and listen to whatever tickels my fancy at the time
A mixture of Industrial and New Wave/Alternitive is allways a nice way to spend an evening
At the moment i'm listening to good 'ole NIN... Maybe some :wumpscut: and VNV Nation later ^-^

Both their current singles irritate me. MCR's is an intro and then endless finales/crescendos, PatD's just repeats that line about closing the goddamn door constanly.

Same with me when I'm at home or in Uni listening to my mp3 player. When I'm in work I just burn loads of CDs to make the day fly past.
A good indication of the stuff I like is in my selections for the hangover 5punkdio shows I did. Though that was with all the heavier, non-hangover friendly tracks removed.

Also for the past few weekends I have been listening to Foxy Brown's album - this isn't through choice however, it's because the cunts who live below won't turn the radio down.
The only reason I know it's Foxy Brown's album is because she states her name in every sentence of every song. Just how insecure are these rappers that not only do they feel the constant need to brag about their wealth, but they need to say their own name every 2 seconds also?

They're making the most of the opportunity while the money's there and people still care who they are?
