Champignons Onion

If you want anything added to this sticky post a reply. As usual we will delete or split the threat to keep it all tidy.

Champions Online is the spiritual successor to the old 5punky favourite CoH/CoV. The aim of the game is to dress up in the most outrageously pink outfit, preferably with wings and prance around annoying the furries. I think there's a plot and levelling involved too, but that's not important.

5punk has a Guild/Supergroup called Five Punk on the massive one with instanced everything server.

Not since the wipe.

I have seen quite a few multi-coloured monstrosities and a lot of 'hulq' 'sexininjia' 'dedpool' types. But I was expecting that.

I made a chat channel.

If you right click the chat buttan, click the channels tab and join 5punkchat then you can talk in pink!

Right, we has guild/supergroup.

Five Punk is it's name, magenta and white the colours, a big faabulous butterfly the symbol! Wear them with pride heroes!

What's the server called? I need to fill in the gaps in the OP.

There's no server. it's just one massive one with instanced everything.

Interesting. I wonder how long that'll last. OP updated anyway. Let me know when some good wiki type sites pop up and I'll link em.

They'll just add more instances. They are localised - it's pretty much the Guild Wars model, but with 30-odd people in every zone (shops, quest hubs and missions), instead of just your party.

Did you sign up to a recurring?

I think they might have proffered an extra week in play time for all the downtime too, but I'm not sure.

Yeah I was forced to sign up for a recurring payment thing but I cancelled it straight away and deleted my card from my accounts page.

I read a dev post saying it was a problem with the accounts system they were trying to fix. That was probably more than a week ago, though.

For those that are interested, the Blood Moon event started yesterday. It's a 700MB patch for your pleasure. There's a video on IGN.
