I'm sure I've seen this concept before, I remember it was made by Japanese people but was in a Eastern European setting with Eastern European actors.
Can't remember the name though.

I couldn't remember either. Might not be all that original...but it might be done well...

I'm going to lazily assume Gamer will be horrible.

We do need a thread for trailers though, I will spam it later.

Gaymer!

Looks like someone took most of the cars out of the shit statham death race remake and put more guns in instead. Then sprayed a bit of faux geekery over the top like a light dusting of cinnamon on their no fat skinny latte. Fucking cock jugglers.

Still, butler and hall are pretty good actors.

Shutter Island:

I've gone off Scorsese in recent years, but this interests me. More of a standard horror than his usual gangster themed output.

I really like the look of Shutter Island, can't wait for it to come out. Similarly with the following film, Surrogates:

Surrogates looks like it could be enjoyable, in a slightly stupid way.

It looks like something faaabulous Byrne was in ten years ago.

Also it might be my second favourite ice-cream van sequence in a film.

This one looks like it could be good. I reckon Miles O'Brien is behind it all and engineers the whole thing.

Gentleman Broncos

Featuring half of Flight of the Conchords. Looks like the usual indie comedy affair, could go either way.

The remake was good too, nothing really like the original though.

Edits - Surrogate looks good, been looking forward to it for a while. This making films from comic books trend is great.

Wasteland and Blackest Night please!

I didn't really like the remake, in fact I found myself changing channels quite often because I didn't find the story very gripping.
But I did see the remake before the original, and it pleased me greatly to see it didn't follow the same story as the remake, and was all the more unsettling and eerie to watch.
