I so want that to be good, but I'm not confident.

It looks like it'll be fun if nothing else.

Are you sure that isn't one of those trailer remixes? It's almost bipolar.

Another bad one: The Expendables

Quite a cast in this 80s style action turd. However I suspect it's not an official trailer.

that does look very good in a shoot the moon kind of way, actually. It's about time that Sly Stallone cemented his role as this generation's Steven Segal and this could just be the movie to manage that. Even a guest appearnce by Dolf Lungdren!

I'm excited :excited: <--see

/edit and as for the cage flick ... Werner Herzog films are rarely worthless (although I agree this one doesn't look promising) *sigh* I'm sure I'll end up watching it hoping for cage redemption and end up with something much, much less

I love Werner Herzog, but I think the Cage factor might eclipse him.

Trailer dump

Wolfman (trailer 2) - Does a much better job of selling it to me than the previous trailer. Hopkins could be awesome in this.

Bunny and the Bull - From the director of Mighty Boosh and the Boosh themselves make an appearance. I hope the final film is more entertaining.

Sherlock Holmes (trailer 2) - I get it now, you have to pretend you know nothing of Sherlock Holmes. Then it looks like it could be fun rather than slightly insulting.

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time

I think it looks good, but maybe that's because of Gemma Arterton.

Clash of the titans does look pretty good, and I really hope it will be because I love the original. I'm not so sure about kick-ass, it could be like mystery men, which I liked, or it could be shit.

Clash of the Titans looks to me like it might end up as xXx: Greece. Lots of ridiculous action sequences and bad CGI. Hard to tell either way from that trailer, but I'm more often disappointed by this sort of film than not.

except less Vin diesel and more Pete Postlethwaite

can I have a HELL YEAH!

For Kick-ass I'm gonna side with the mysterymen (brilliant) meets Sky High (ooh so much missed potential) with a dose of teh Incredibles (good dose of teen silliness). Looks good but then hopes are made to be dashed

as for conan Doyle turning in his grave I think you're right Spoodie, forget the character's history (and ... you know ... character) and it could be a good steampunk romp 007 Hellsing kinda thing. I'm just happy to see RDJnr get 3 movies in teh can before getting thrown in jail / enforced rehab again. The dude's on a roll!

I have to admit it's the actors that make me look forward to it, not the trailer. Surely actors like Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson and Pete Postlethwaite can lift the film up to some degree?
At least, that's what I hope.

Fair point about the actors, I only noticed Pete Postlethwaite. I'm probably just being cynical because of the amount of turkeys that get released.
