HELLO ONE AND ALL, AND WELCOME TO THE FIRST MONTHLY GARRY'S MOD CONSTRUCTION COMPETITION!

Over at Garry's official forums they sometimes hold construction competitions for who can solve a problem using only a special kind of item, or who can build a working rollercoaster using just the standard props.. Due to the chaos witnessed the other night when I made a 'car' and roman popped in to royally rape it, I thought we could all have a bit of fun making some weird creations.

First task is to build some functioning cars - (Wheels attached, that will work when the torque is turned up in the options) Points awarded for creativity and general spackiness. You can save singleplayer and multiplayer garry's mod instances and then upload them somewhere for other 5punkers to try out.

What say you all?

I've just been playing with Gmod actually. Came across a pretty good zombie mod for it last night which I'll try to find again and post.

Sounds like a good idea but I'm not very good, all I can make so far is very basic cars.

Mine consisted of two dumpster lids, a blast door and some baloons.

Zombie survival? its a good mod but Pirateship wars is better

I'm in if I can have lots of time. Can't do it in say 3 days or semething. Over a week and i'll have the Fearmobile ready for you.

I voted yes, but it looks like it's already been won. My GMod attempts usually only amount to sticking loads of balloons on things and then setting them on fire.

That's the one. I'll have to look into Pirateship.

Sandwich gave me a quick lo-down on how to create pod-racer type things, after wowing me with a number of hovercraft type vehicles, canons and full blown automobiles. I think I'd like another training session with him, and especially one with the almighty stoat before I get to making my submission(s).

Doesn't the unregistered version of fraps last for a measly 60 seconds at a time?
Have you found teh upload codez? If so, please share!

We should all jump on a server some time and mess about, I haven't played gmod in a long time.
