BitTech, I'm slowly not trusting them as a news source any more as they can't get the facts right.

As despite press releases and commentry from the owners, they're still claiming 3dRealms got $12 million from Take 2, when the fact is that another publishing house got it (GT interactive) as Take 2 were mearly buying the publishing rights.

Still, it's interesting to know there would have been another duke game, and lends even more credibilty that 3dRealms are being screwed if Take 2 suspended development for a game that could have been in development for 18 months. If 3dRealms were relying on the royalties to from that to finish DNF it does seem as if Take 2 were out to screw them, especially as that new game was suspended only in April.

This is my face when I can't tell if someone is bullshitting.

Next Duke game is out in the Fall apparently.

The next proper Duke game will be out 6 to 12 months after the lawsuit though. I'd be willing to put money on that.
