I'm not voting because I'm not very politically-minded. I didn't even know I was meant to be voting for something until yesterday and I have no idea what to vote for because everything just sounds the same to me.

I AM THE REASON THIS COUNTRY IS GOING TO THE DOGS.

You've missed off Spoiled vote as an option.

As for voting, I'll probably vote either Lib Dem or Green at the next general election.

Jury Team are appealing for the independants, but from what I can tell, I'd have to wade through quite a lot to see if there average views of the polices they want to implement are ones I agree with.

Although I do concur with the anti-EU governing sentiments.

As much as I hate the current bunch of useless cunts I don't see the point in voting. All that will happen is the current cunts will be voted out and an entirely new bunch of cunts will replace the old cunts.

The circle of political cunts will go on forever.

If you don't vote for change you're not going to get any.

Good grief this

Anyone who can sit there and say fuck the cunts in charge, fair enough. As it is, I would agree right now, but saying in the same breath that they're all as bad as each other.

I vote mainstream. While I do agree with some of the policies of the smaller parties there's always one or two that sit with me less comfortably than the ones I don't completly agree with of the mainstream ones. And then there's the BNP

I agree with Chickenz. They are[/] all politicians, and while individual politicians may vary in quality, the main parties all seem to even out as spineless yes-men, and the smaller parties radical crazies. Looking further into things, I find it very difficult to choose a party because for every policy one has that I agree with, they inevitably have three I outright disagree with.

Personally I doubt I'll vote, but only because I'm not from the area and don't even know where the polling station is. The way politics are, I can't find the motivation to find out.

I actually agree with Chicken, but given the choice of one useless cupcake over another useless cupcake, or face the alternative of an utterly ineffectual bunch of retarded disasters, I'll probably vote Conservative, being as I am vaguely more right wing than champagne socialist.

I just vote green every time because they're the only ones that have stuff on their agenda that I care about.
Also, I never actually had to vote, every time there's elections here I'm in a different country, I was in Australia the first two times and now I'm in Birmingham. Sometimes, just sometimes, I have excellent timing.

Yes they are cunts, all of them, except (most of*) the independents. I said I didn't mind vince cable a few weeks ago, turns out he was one of the many spending my taxes on biscuits and moat cleaning and shit like that.

But to not vote at all and then say nothing will change, well you're right. If you don't like politicians but like politics, do it yourself! It's 64k in monies for sitting in a room going whhaaarrr! Booo! Yahh yahh! at stuff and then getting the cheapest pints in London in at the mp's bar. Martin Bell, Richard Taylor and other independents have done a good job of shaking things up as two men who stood and won as independents.

I'm pissed off I haven't sorted out my vote, because if all those single people who say I couldn't give a fuck went out and voted for green or lib dem (still not ukip or bnp mind) and scared the shit out of the two established bland middle of the road parties then surely that's good?

Out of all the promises I've heard, cutting benefit for workshy scroungers who refuse jobs sounds best and that's from the conservatives. Pity they have people who shout about getting found out by the plebs for cleaning moats out.

I have never voted. Quite simply I don't take much of an interest in politics even if some argue I should. I really don't believe that any party (aside from some of the 'extreme' ones) are going to stick to all the promises they make and improve whatever it is needs improving.

I voted away from a major party for the first time ever. Kind of a protest at the expenses claims, kind of saying I don't like Brown's leadership but I like the other main two even less.

Unfortunately most of the others on our two-foot-long voting form seemed to be ultra right-wing facists, or equally xenophobic break-offs from the left on an anti-Europe platform. I like Europe - I want to be European, a great big Superpower that doesn't have to do what America says all the time.

They should just merge all the countries, then everyone would stop moaning about immigrants, also we'd have the best football team, ever.
