Mano just got suicide ganked on the way to Jita. Lost 3 Type-D's and about 100mill of T2 components. At least only the Type-D's were my own isk, the rest was ISSHI, but even so it's a goddamn lame tactic.

Watch out for caracals and kestrels sitting on the gates.

well it isnt new! they been doing it for a while! Due that someone scans and then they gank and pick up loot after! its lame for sure!

No, it's not new, but I've never heard of it being done on pipes before, just outside majour stations like jita 4-4 CNA and the like.

Yeah, I usually carry all my cargo in cans so the scanners can't see what I've got, and fit at least some sort of tank. This time had none of that. But from now on when approaching Jita I'll be using instas. If I bother going at all.

They locked and scanned with a kestrel (not even using a silent targeting module) at which point I attempted to turn aroud but the lag was making a slideshow of it. Then the 5 caracals opened up and I instapopped. I even got to sit there and watch the alt come and pick up the loot. He would have got 2 Type-D's, a traaa'or beam and about 50mill or so of T2 components, total of about 75mill for the loss of 5 cara's (3 mill if built). Net profit for him of approx 50mill. Oh and all in noob corps so non-war deccable.

What is suicide gank?

Blowing up someones ship in high sec when you know concord will gank you. Usually done for isk gains.

yer and its an explite! and really the GM shopuld act to this because using alts for it and then replace them all the time so its keeps going is wrong and well thats what I think

Sorry, that's not quite right. Ganking in high sec is fine, so long as you lose your ship. If their recycling alts however, then yes that's an exploit.
